Its Clock Time
Hey Divine Creations Family its time make some décor for your home, office or whatever space you have you feel a clock is needed. In this blog post I’m going to give you instructions on how to create your own custom clock. This project is not hard and very easy to do. You can use this a gift or just a way to spice up your area. You don’t need anything special and can make this using everything in your home office so lets started.
Supply List
Wall Clock (for the demo and sizes I use the clock from Walmart Pictured Below)
Small Screw Driver
Batteries for the Clock
Tape or Glue
Card Stock
Scissors
Printer
Canva (you can use the free version)
Instructions
- Go to canva.com and you are either going to sign into your account or create an account. You can set up an account using the free trial, or you can upgrade to one of the paid subscriptions.
- Once logged in you are going to go to the top right-hand side and click create design custom size.
- You are going to enter in size 8.5 x 11 and make sure that the setting is on inches.
- Once in your design space you want to click on elements on the left side of the screen you will look for the circle that has the picture of the landscape on it.
- After you add you circle to your page you are going to go in and make it a size of 7.2
- Now that your circle is the correct size you are going to add your image on the lefthand side you are going to go upload and select a picture you have previously uploaded or you can upload a new one. After the image is selected you will hover it over your circle and the image will take the shape of the circle. Once the image has taken the shape of the circle you are going to lock you image in place.
- After locking the image in you are going to go to the left side of the screen and select text and in the search bar you going to type in circle. You are looking for the first image.
- Now that circle is text is saved you going to remove the in the middle of the circle. Once it is remove your going to stretch out your lines to have everything placed in the right spot. You can also go in a change the color to anything that you like.
- Once you have made all of your changes you are now ready to print.
- Once printed you will cut out your circle from the page
- Take all the screws out of the back of your clock. Make sure to keep up with them. You are going to remove the back and the hands of the clock
- Place tape or glue on the back of your image and add it on top of the numbers on the clock and add back the clock hands and back of the clock.
- Place your battery in your clock and set your time.
You have now made your own custom clock.
